Streator Fest Committee

Our Take
The Streator Fest Committee is the volunteer group behind Streator Fest, the city’s signature summer festival, and with more than 14,000 Facebook followers it may be the most-followed organization in town. The 2026 festival was scheduled for August 6 through 9. Summer festivals like this typically bring carnival rides, live music, food vendors, a beer garden and family activities to the city, and they double as a homecoming for people who’ve moved away. Because the committee runs on volunteers and donations, sponsorships and helping hands keep it going year after year, and the Facebook page explains how to donate. Local businesses can buy sponsorships or vendor spots. Follow the page for lineup announcements, schedules and volunteer sign-ups, which usually start appearing in spring before the August festival.
