Rotary Club of Streator
701 Oakley Ave., Streator, IL 61364
Our Take
The Rotary Club of Streator lists its address at 701 Oakley Avenue and connects with the community mainly through Facebook. Rotary is the international service organization of business and professional leaders, known worldwide for its campaign to eradicate polio, and local clubs channel that same energy into hometown projects: scholarships, youth exchange, park improvements, food drives and support for other nonprofits. Joining is one of the best ways for newcomers and young professionals to build relationships with Streator’s business community while doing meaningful work. Weekly or regular meetings usually include a meal and a speaker, so it’s also a good way to stay informed about what’s happening in town. Message the club through Facebook to ask about meeting times, visiting as a guest and membership dues before attending.
