Our Take
Streator’s Church of the Nazarene, on East Main Street, follows a classic Sunday-morning pattern: adult Bible study at 9:30 a.m., then worship at 10:40. The gap between the two gives people a little breathing room to grab coffee or catch up before the service starts, which is a small detail that tends to make a congregation feel more relaxed. It is a good fit for adults who want a structured study time on Sunday rather than just a sermon. The church keeps a simple website, which is worth checking for any changes to the schedule before you go, and the phone number is listed for questions. East Main Street puts it near several other congregations, so it is easy to find. For visitors drawn to the holiness tradition of the Nazarene church, this is Streator’s local option, and its Sunday rhythm is straightforward and newcomer-friendly.
