Streator Area United Way
122 N. Bloomington Street, Streator, IL 61364
Our Take
The Streator Area United Way, at 122 North Bloomington, raises money once and spreads it across a network of local partner agencies, so a single donation reaches food programs, youth services, health and senior support and more. Its website highlights the School Tools program, which provides classroom supplies to area school districts so every student starts the year prepared, and a $99 donation is suggested as a way to join that effort. In a creative twist, the organization also runs an escape room as a fundraiser, a fun night out that supports the cause. Businesses can set up workplace giving campaigns, and volunteers are welcome. Check the community partners page to see which agencies receive support. Donations can be made online in a few clicks.
