Barbecue done right takes time, and the schedule reflects that, with service only Thursday through Sunday and Sunday ending at 4 p.m. That limited window is typical of smokehouses that cook in batches, so it’s wise to go earlier in the day before popular items sell out. The North Bloomington Street location is easy to reach from the commercial strip. The city’s dining page calls BBQ a local favorite, and Dig Doug’s is the clearest example.
