Countryside Animal Clinic

Our Take

Countryside Animal Clinic on Oakley Avenue has the clearest web presence of Streator’s veterinarians, which helps when you are a new pet owner trying to figure out how things work. The clinic posts weekday hours from 8 to 5 with a noon-to-1 lunch closure, so do not plan a midday walk-in. One detail stands out: it says it offers emergency care to established clients during business hours. That is a good reason to register your pet before something goes wrong, because new patients may not get the same priority in a pinch. The clinic is closed Saturdays. For after-hours emergencies, you will likely need a regional emergency hospital, so find that number before you need it. Overall, this is a solid, straightforward choice for routine wellness care, vaccinations and sick visits.
