Streator Leading Ladies

Our Take

Streator Leading Ladies is a women’s organization in the Chamber directory, and the name says a lot: a group for women who lead in business, civic life and volunteering. Groups like this typically combine networking, professional development, mentoring and charitable projects, giving members a place to swap advice, support one another’s businesses and tackle community needs together. For women who are new to town, starting a business or simply want to be more involved, it can be a fast way to build connections. The group’s Facebook page is its main presence online, so that’s the place to find event announcements, meeting details and how to join. Ask about membership dues, how often the group meets and what service projects it supports.
