Our Take
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church offers both a Saturday 5 p.m. service and a Sunday 9 a.m. service, a schedule that respects people’s busy weekends. The Saturday option is handy for families with Sunday sports, shift workers, or anyone who would rather keep Sunday morning open, while the 9 a.m. slot is early enough to leave the rest of the day free. The church’s own street, Trinity Drive, makes it easy to find. Lutheran worship typically blends liturgy, hymns and sacraments in a way that feels both reverent and familiar, and Holy Trinity is one of two Lutheran congregations on Streator’s church list, so there is a choice within the tradition. Its website, holytrinitystreator.org, is the best source for current times and events. For anyone seeking a traditional, structured worship service with a flexible weekend schedule, Holy Trinity is an easy recommendation to check out.
