PromptCare fills the gap between calling your doctor and going to the emergency department, and in Streator it lives on the same Spring Street campus as both. That is the clever part: if a sore throat turns out to be something more, the lab, imaging and the Emergency Center are steps away. Use it for the everyday stuff such as minor injuries, infections, rashes and sudden fevers, and keep the ER for chest pain, stroke signs and serious trauma. Because it is part of OSF, your visit should land in the same records your OSF primary care provider sees, which matters more than people think. We could not confirm current walk-in hours from an official page, so we have left them blank rather than guess.
