OSF Center for Health – Streator
111 Spring St, Streator, IL 61364
Our Take
If you live in Streator, this is the building you need to know first. OSF converted the old hospital campus on Spring Street into a Center for Health, and the headline is the freestanding Emergency Center that OSF lists as open around the clock. Just as useful is everything stacked under one roof: primary care on the fourth floor, PromptCare for walk-in problems, imaging and lab, occupational health, rehab, and specialty clinics in general surgery, OB/GYN and orthopedics. That concentration is the real selling point for a town this size, because it means fewer drives to Ottawa or Peoria for routine tests. What you should not expect is a full inpatient hospital; serious cases may still be transferred. Our advice: save the main number in your phone, and call the department lines below rather than the switchboard when you can. For anything life-threatening, call 911 first.
