Family Vision Corner lives up to its name, sitting on the corner of Main and Monroe in downtown Streator. Dr. Steven Trzepacz, OD, runs a practice that covers more than glasses. The site says he is licensed for medical optometry, including red eyes, eye injuries, foreign body removal and glaucoma treatment, which can save you a trip out of town for common problems. There is an optical with a large frame selection and contact lens fitting, including astigmatism and bifocal lenses. Saturday morning hours are a real plus for working families, but note the catch: the office drops Saturdays in summer and is closed Thursdays all year. One small oddity is that the website lists the ZIP as 61365, while Streator uses 61364; we have used 61364. Call for an appointment and ask about your vision plan.
