Buying a dresser or sideboard that someone else has already sanded, repaired and painted saves you a messy weekend in the garage, and the pieces carry more character than anything shipped in a box. Public reviewers give it top marks, and it is an active Streator Chamber member. Because every piece is one of a kind, inventory turns over and what you saw last month may be gone, so hesitating is risky. Hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 to 5 and Saturday 10 to 4. One listing shows a Tuesday closing time that is clearly a typo; we used 5 p.m.
