Our Take
The tobacco shop at 105 East Sumner Street shows up in public listings under two names, JB Hawks Discount Tobacco and Vape and Cigarette Express, with the same address and phone number, so we treat it as one store. Either way, it is a discount tobacco outlet carrying cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, vape products and accessories, including humidors, and it also sells lottery tickets. Discount smoke shops compete on carton pricing, and the combined listings carry over 100 public ratings averaging around four and a half stars. The early opening, around 7 a.m. Monday through Saturday, suits commuters. Three listings give three different sets of closing times, so we have left hours blank rather than pick one. The shop is on Sumner Street, just north of downtown.
