Hairs Wendy is a small beauty salon on the far east end of Main Street, between Birmingham Avenue and Otter Creek Road, and as the name suggests it’s an owner-operated shop. One directory lists Wendy Wilkinson as the owner. It carried a 4.6 rating in the aggregated listings we checked. This is the type of salon that doesn’t advertise and doesn’t need to, and that also means there’s very little public detail about services or pricing. We couldn’t find published hours anywhere reliable, so the phone is the way in. If you live on the east side near Otter Creek, the location is the practical draw, and a one-chair or two-chair shop gives you the same stylist every time, which is the main reason people stick with places like this. Call ahead, ask what services are offered and how far out appointments are running, and don’t expect a website or online booking.
