Casey’s on East Main Street is technically a convenience store and gas station, but in small Midwestern towns its made-from-scratch pizza and breakfast pizza have a cult following, which is why Streator’s dining guide includes it under pizza. It’s open every day from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m., with pickup and delivery available until 10:30 p.m., according to the official store page. That makes it a surprisingly useful food stop for early commuters looking for a breakfast pizza slice or a donut, and for late-evening pizza runs. It’s the only spot on this list where you can fill your gas tank and pick up dinner in one trip. Don’t expect a restaurant atmosphere; this is a grab-and-go counter. But if you’ve never tried Casey’s breakfast pizza, the 1401 E. Main St. store is a fine place to find out what Midwesterners are talking about.
