Venegas, 67, of La Salle was sentenced Friday to 30 months of conditional discharge for felony reckless conduct in the March 22, 2023, shooting at Mickey's Massive Burritos in La Salle that critically injured his brother, owner Mickey Venegas, who survived. Testimony showed Richard brought his handgun in to show his brother and removed the magazine but didn't realize a round was still chambered. Chief Judge H.
