Flowers Plus has been arranging flowers on East Main Street for more than half a century, and it is still family owned. What makes it stand out is range: everyday arrangements, wedding work, sympathy pieces, gifts and home décor, plus linen rentals and men’s formalwear rentals. That last part is unusual and genuinely useful, because a couple planning a Streator wedding can sort bouquets, table linens and tuxedos in one place. The shop makes a fair point on its own site that ordering direct, rather than through a national wire service, puts more of your money into the flowers. Its “Designer’s Choice” tiers are the move if you trust a florist’s eye. Weekday hours run 8:30 to 5 and Saturday until 3.
