Our Take
Mediacom is the main cable company in Streator, with a local office at 2506 1/2 North Bloomington, and it offers internet, TV, home phone and mobile plans. Its current headline offer is Internet 300 at $30 a month locked for two years with no data caps, delivered over a fiber-powered network that connects to homes by coaxial cable. Add-ons include Xpert support, whole-home WiFi powered by eero and the Xumo Stream Box for TV. Businesses can get separate service plans. For remote workers and streaming households, the no-data-cap policy is the key detail. Before signing up, check availability at your address, read the terms for one-time charges and equipment fees, and ask what happens to the price after the promotional period. Bills can be paid online.
